Abstract

With the pursuit of more expressive shapes and diverse functions in modern architecture, the discontinuity of vertical components is increasing, leading to complex vertical load transmission paths. Therefore, by summarizing the types and characteristics of vertical loads, the transmission paths of vertical loads were classified. The transmission path is closely related to the architectural form and function. This article analyzes the transmission mode of vertical loads in complex high-rise building structures based on typical engineering cases. The main focus was on the load transmission paths, stress characteristics, and design methods under different structural forms. Research has shown that rational design of conversion structures and suspension systems can effectively solve the problem of vertical load transmission in complex high-rise buildings and achieve harmonious unity between buildings and structures.
